Cross border LTL and Truckload service

Because the USA is Canada’s number one trading partner, our customers’ shipping requirements have made traffic between Canada and the USA our leading service offering. With both LTL and Truckload service, we cover a wide range of industries and utilize all types of equipment including but not limited to:

  • Tandem dry vans
  • Heater vans
  • Straight truck
  • Flat beds
  • Specialized, multi-axle equipment

Our carriers are fully compliant

We have strict guidelines for choosing our cross border carrier partners. First, they need to share our service first business philosophy. Second, they must have all the necessary accreditations to operate seamlessly across the border, without unnecessary delays. After that, they go through the same criteria as our Canadian partners, including:

  • Adherence to our real-time communications requirements
  • A well maintained fleet to minimize downtime
  • A fine-tuned service niche and regional strength that integrates well within our specialized partner carrier network

Key lanes of LTL and Truckload cross border activity

We can, and have, serviced thousands of unique origins and destinations connecting Canadian and USA points. Our service map highlights some of our higher volume traffic lanes with sample transit times.

Inbound to Canada, the bulk of our activity is destined to Ontario and Quebec, followed by Western Canada and Atlantic Canada. Essentially, our shipping patterns are tied to our highest population centers.

On an outbound basis, the same patterns hold true with the bulk of our traffic emanating from Ontario and Quebec to points east of the Mississippi, followed by some popular long haul segments serving Texas and California.
